Factory reset will set 'Security code' to `12345`, and give an error 'Too short' when changing it to 4 characters or less. Keyguard will NOT accept this code, even if it`s correct! For Keyguard, 'Security code' must be at least 5 characters. After getting your Nokia Restriction Code, your phone will be already unlocked and ready for use. Just like the previous site, you are required to enter your IMEI number to get the code in an instant. ![]() This site is also a credible online site for restrictions codes for Nokia devices. This is (strangely) not written in the manual! In some models there exists a *bug*, which lets you set a 4 character Security code. ![]() It is NOT a separate code! Default code *should* be `12345`. Keyguard 'Security code' is IDENTICAL to the 'Security code' set in '(Main) menu' -> 'Settings' -> 'Security' -> 'Access codes' -> 'Change secur. This information applies to the 'Security Keyguard' (this is the name in the English localization) of a brand new Nokia 301 feature phone (and probably to other, similar, phones). ![]()
