![]() ![]() ![]() To sum everything up: If you already have your transcripts, then you are pretty much fine. So try to pay it by 6 months after your initial due date. There is a thing where after 6 months they will send it to a collection agency and if you can't pay it they will write off your debt and your credit score will go down. They don't put an interest on it and that original due date is only if you are trying to meet the deadline for the next semester or term if you had wanted to apply for classes at old college. I would still pay it eventually, but there is no rush. If you already got a bunch of transcripts in anticipation of this, then I guess you are fine. You are required to send all of your transcripts and you wont be able to apply if you don't have them all. What kinds of problems will you have if you leave it as is? Well the big thing is that you wont be able to get your transcripts if you want to apply to a different college. Say you still owe money to you old college that you left. ![]()
